* Until 600 PM MST.

* At 302 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

This includes Interstate 10 between mile markers 283 and 301.

heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Benson and St. David.

This includes the following highways...
Route 90 between mile markers 290 and 293. Route 80 between mile
markers 293 and 299. Interstate 10 between mile markers 302 and 313.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northwestern Cochise County in southeastern Arizona...
Northeastern Pima County in southeastern Arizona...
Southern Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* WHEN...Until 630 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Rises in small streams and normally dry washes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 326 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Expect
water to fill washes within the Santa Catalina Mountains and near
Catalina State Park.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Catalina, Oro Valley, Saddlebrooke, Tortolita, Mount
Lemmon/Summerhaven, Saguaro National Park East, Catalina State
Park, Redington and Cascabel.
- This includes Route 77 between mile markers 81 and 90.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Southeast Arizona including Graham, Greenlee,
Cochise and Santa Cruz counties.

* WHEN...The Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through 10 PM MST
this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, dry washes, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- The combination of ample moisture and an upper-level disturbance
passing across portions of Southeast Arizona from the east today
will result in widespread showers and thunderstorms...especially
south and east of Tucson. These storms will be capable of
producing heavy rainfall, with localized rainfall amounts between
1 and 3 inches. Given how saturated soils are across the area
from storms over the past week, there is an increased potential
that rainfall runoff to produce flash flooding.
